Gifts of Distinction is a Business of Distinction! In October 2001, Professional Candy Buyer Magazine presented Gifts of Distinction the Outstanding Achievement Award...an award that had never been presented to any other gift basket company.

Owner Vicki Baker received three design awards at the August 2004 Gift Basket Jubilee (a convention for gift basket businesses). These included – Best of Show for Swinging the Balance of Success, Best Coffee Basket for Brewing a Cup of Success, and the Little Smile for Employee Appreciation.

Besides top honors for design, Gift Basket Review Magazine honored Gifts of Distinction in 2005 and 2006 as being one of America's Top 100 Gift Basket Businesses.

Most recently, in September 2006, Vicki Baker won an award for Design Excellence for her Winter Wildlife Gift Basket at the Gift Basket Jubilee held in Boston.
